நிரந்தர கணக்கு அட்டை எனப்படும் பான் கார்டு (Permanent Account Number-PAN) நம்மில் பலரிடமும் உள்ளது ஆனால், பலருக்கும் இதன் முக்கியத்துவம் பற்றி தெரிவதில்லை. பான்கார்டு பற்றிய விரிவான தகவல்களும் அதனுடைய விளக்கங்களும் பற்றி பார்போம்.
2) வாகனம் அல்லது மோட்டார் வாகனத்தின் கொள்முதல் அல்லது விற்பனையின் போது (இரு சக்கர வாகனம் மற்றும் அவற்றுடன் இணைக்கப்பட்ட ஊர்தி நீங்கலாக)
3) ரூ.50,000/-க்கு மேல் வங்கியில் Fixed Deposit செய்யும் போது அவசியம்.
4) அஞ்சலக சேமிப்பு வங்கி கணக்கில் வைக்கப்படும் Fixed Deposit ரூ.50,000 தாண்டும் போது அவசியம்.
5) ஒப்பந்த மதிப்பு ரூ.1லட்சம் மிகும் போது செய்யப்படும் பிணையங்களின் கொள்முதல் அல்லது விற்பனையின் போது அவசியம்.
6) வங்கி கணக்கு துவங்கும் போது.
7) தொலைபேசி, செல்போன் இணைப்பு பெற விண்ணப்பிக்கும் போது.
8) தங்கும் விடுதி மற்றும் உணவு விடுதிக்கு செலுத்தும் கட்டணம் ரூ. 25,000/- மிகும் போது அவசியம்.
9) ஒரு நாளில் வங்கியில் பெறப்படும் DD/Pay Order அல்லது வங்கி காசோலையின் மொத்த தொகை ரூ.50,000/- க்கு அதிகமாக செலுத்தும் போது அவசியம்.
10) வருமான வரி ரிட்டன தாக்கல் செய்ய அவசியம்.
11) சேவை வரி மற்றும் வணிக வரிதுறையில் பதிவு சான்று பெற Pan Cardகட்டயமாகும்.
12) முன்பு, மியூச்சுவல் ஃபண்டில் ரூ.50,000 மற்றும் அதற்கும் அதிகமான தொகையை முதலீடு செய்யும் போதுதான் பான்கார்டு அவசியமிருந்தது. ஆனால், தற்போது எவ்வளவு குறைந்த பணத்தை முதலீடு செய்தாலும் பான்கார்டு எண்ணை குறிப்பிட வேண்டும்.
மேலும், மைனர் பெயரில் மியூச்சுவல் ஃபண்டில் முதலீடு செய்யும் போது, பான் கார்டு எண்ணை சமர்ப்பிக்க வேண்டும். இதற்காக, தற்போது மைனர்களுக்கும் பான் கார்டு வழங்கப்படுகிறது.
பான்கார்டு பெற விரும்புவோர் வருமான வரித்துறையின் Form49-ஏ என்ற படிவத்தைப் பூர்த்தி செய்ய வேண்டும். இந்த விண்ணப்பத்துடன் முகவரிக்கான சான்றிதழை இணைக்க வேண்டும்.

Permanent Account Number
PAN card is one of the most essential documents issued by the Income Tax Department of India, that contains a PAN number.
This is a ten digit alphanumeric number that is unique to every individual.
In addition, it contains other vital information like your photograph, name, address etc. Now days it is rather compulsory for one to have a PAN, be it a resident or a non-resident Indian.
The Income Tax Department of India has issued the PAN card in order to track the financial transaction of every person.
This is necessary to simplify the process of imposing tax. It is mandatory to quote your PAN number in every financial transaction.
Advantages of PAN Card
Ø PAN number acts as an Identity proof. The PAN is unique, national, and permanent.
Ø It is unaffected by a change of address, even between states.
Ø PAN card is almost mandatory for financial transactions such as
v Opening a bank account.
v Issue of Credit Card.
v Receiving taxable salary or professional fees.
v Sale or purchase of assets above specified limits. Like :
§ Buying or selling a car.
§ Buying or selling immovable property.
v It has to be quoted while buying a mobile phone or getting a land line connection.
v It is necessary for any travel related expense exceeding Rs. 25,000./-.
v If you deposit an amount exceeding Rs. 50000.00 in bank or post office, the PAN number has to be quoted.
Ø If you are NRI, even then you will need your PAN card in order to carry out any of the above transactions in India and also to run a business.
Permanent Account Number (PAN) Card
What does the PAN card contain?
The PAN card states all of your basic information on it including:
Ø PAN – a unique ten-digit alphanumeric number
Ø Name – Name of the PAN holder
Ø Date of Birth – Date of birth of the PAN holder
Ø Father name – Father’s name of the PAN holder
Ø Photograph – the photograph of the PAN holder
Ø Signature – The signature of the PAN holder
In case of a company pan card It includes the India tax number, name of the company and the date of your company formation or incorporation.
Requirements for PAN Card:
Ø Two passport size colour photos.
Ø Photo ID Proof (Passport copy, election card, driving license etc.)
Ø Address Proof, if the current address is different from the one in the photo id proof.
Ø Bank statement.
Ø If the applicant is not having any photo id proof or the address proof then he has to submit an affidavit attested by the Govt. gazzitted officer.
How to apply for a PAN?
Download PAN application (Form 49A) from
(www.incometaxindia.gov.in, www.utiisl.co.in or tin.nsdl.com) or photocopied (on A4 size 70 GSM paper) or obtained from any other source. The form is also available at IT PAN Service centers and TIN Facilitation centers.
Fill the form and submit with the required documents to the nearest TIN Center.
